● Emerson DeFord HMFB (handmade): rare flute from master craftsman Emerson Deford. Completely handmade in 1995 using the tooling of former Powell craftsman, Edward Almeida. Sterling silver throughout; 14K riser; soldered toneholes; pointed key arms; open holes; in-line G-A; B foot with gizmo; gold springs; Straubinger pads. Each section is hallmarked with Emerson DeFord's name and logo - not to be confused with older E.L. DeFord, or current Emerson brands - this instrument was fully handbuilt by Emerson himself. Recent C/O/A including new headjoint cork and new pads as needed; in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.
